In case you feel like getting your New Year’s hangover on a day early, two sleazy bands are playing Nashville’s dirtiest venue tonight. The Falls City Angels and the Ex-Lovers play the Springwater Supper Club and Lounge. They’ve told us 9pm but we don’t believe that for a second.
The Clutters, Harper, The Metroids (DeKalb, IL), and Imagine Asians bring you rock music in a variety of forms. $5 - 9pm.
Stylus Magazine gives us their year end list in the form of haikus. Some winners include:
Devendra Banhart
If this is a voice
of our lost generation

The Hold Steady
Club drugs, church camp sluts
Puked-out pews, stoned surfer boys
How was your weekend?
