Come hear why these boys are being hailed as an indie rocker’s dream come true.Opening are their buds Bikini Carwash Company. 9 p.m. @ the Basement, where they lay it out on wax paper. Jason Salzer @ The SutlerJason Salzer plays an energetic, commercial kind of singer-songwriter rock. He should be right at home in the cozy confines of The Sutler. He plays tonight at 8pm. You can get a taste of his music either on his myspace page linked above or live on the radio. He appears on 91.1 at 7pm on the 29th of June. So if you’re reading this first on 30 June, then you’ve plum missed the radio show. Rock N Roll Hooligans @ Radio CafeThe Rock N Roll Hooligans play punk rock with a little “Oi” flavor. They bring it to the Radio Cafe in East Nashville tonight. w/Big Baby Justin and the SpidersThe Pink Spiders told us recently that they have been hanging out with some pretty cool artists in L.A., but we really weren’t prepared for this name: Justin Timberlake. The Spiders declined to comment when asked if he was choreographing their live show or just borrowing a belt. Wednesday, 29 June 2005Comets on Fire @ The EndJust heard about this show: Comets on Fire with Growing, the ever-popular Dave Cloud’s Gospel of Power and Arizona Drains at the End. 9pm The Soundtrack of Our Lives @ Exit / InThe Soundtrack to Our Lives stop at the Exit/In and proggy locals The Whole Fantastic World open. (Let’s hope TWFW has changed drum heads and guitar strings before they take the stage.) If you haven’t gotten a ticket yet, get ready to shell out $17. 8pm Big Nurse @ the MuseThis show will definitely test the strength of the human ear drum. Big Nurse, who currently have a full length vinyl record out entitled American Waste, test the limits of noise rock, and on first listen, bring to mind bands such as Swans. They headline a show at the Muse that also features - and let me take a big breath here - Ari Ari, Flock of Werewolves, Valencia, and Kingbosh. $5, 9 p.m. Tuesday, 28 June 2005The “Scene”The Boston Herald sends a writer to Nashville to report on the burgeoning indie rock scene here.
